Happy New Year and I hope everyone had a great Holiday season. Hope this note finds you well. As we are into the Spring of our program year, we are excited to be hosting expert instructor-led certification classes for APICS CPIM, CSCP and CLTD. We have many learning options from instructor led classrooms both in person or virtually, a flipped Classroom concept (which is where you study at your own pace but can have one on one tutoring from an instructor when you want it), and an option of fully self-study. We also have a fun virtual Professional Development Meeting (PDM) coming up in February called student night which is focused on Students and professionals wanting insight into navigating the job market and ways to advance their career. This event will be on February 8th at 6pm. We will also be holding a virtual PDM on March 8th at 6pm on the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Secrets that Only NASA can teach you!
This past fall we had some great events and discussions. Some of which included a trivia night (Congrats to the top 5 individuals who ranked), we had great discussions about different jobs within the supply chain overarching industry, and some great networking opportunities. It was great seeing everyone at the events and getting to know some of you on a more personal level.
I am personally excited to continue to see the growth of our chapter as well as the involvement. One thing I have personally loved witnessing on top of everything has been the kindness our members have shown to others in their moments of need and tragedy this past fall. It warms my heart to witness all that our members mean to each other, and the effort individuals take out of their busy lives to help others.
